Also, this is how intense we were. We left the hostel at 9:30 am, and check out was at noon. We knew we had to see the Cathedral, which opened at 11, and also wanted to see the Plaza de Toros (an old bull fighting ring) and the Torre Del Oro (Tower of Gold) museums. However, when we went to the Plaza de Toros, you had to go in with a guided tour, and we would have had to wait for 20 minutes, so we took some pictures from the outside and moved on!
Gorgeous building, but does anyone else see the face? :)
A side view to hopefully give you an idea of how big the ring is.
Moving on to the Torre del Oro! My natural hairpiece was not intentional.
A view from the top of the tower!
Here is an appetizer of the Catedral! This view is from the top of the tower.
Now, it's basically like you were on the tower with me!
I loved this map! All of the cities were written in on the sides! The map is from 1563!
Some old scuba gear!
These pictures were from the top of the Giralda tower, as part of the Cathedral. A non-historical fun fact: we knew we had to leave in about 10-15 minutes, but wanted to go to the top of the tower, so we literally ran up 36 flights of ramp, looked at the view for a few minutes, and ran back down as fast as possible! Totally worth it! I felt like I was on the Amazing Race!
You can see the white bridge in the background!
And that was my adventure in Sevilla! Expect the Córdoba post in a a couple days! Have a lovely weekend!
