Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is definitely one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving, and this recipe is so delicious I sometimes eat it by itself!  It is super easy to make too!
The "before"

And "after"- such a beautiful color!

8 oz cranberries, washed
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup sugar

Dissolve the sugar in the water and bring to a boil.  Then, bring the water to a simmer for five minutes and add your cranberries.  Stir occasionally and wait while the cranberries start to pop and the mixture thickens!  You can't really overcook the cranberries, so this recipe is very forgiving and easily customizable.

Enjoy!
