Chocolate Almond Oat Snack Balls!




I am sure everyone can relate to the times when you are extremely hungry and craving something sweet instantly. Being a college student, this is a great recipe I created for these "must eat right now" moments!

Chocolate Almond Oat Snack Balls
makes about 5 small or 3 large balls

2 tbsp almond butter (or any other nut butter)
1 scoop protein powder (I used vanilla whey protein, if your protein powder is unsweetened, you can sweeten as you like)
1 tbsp oats
1 tbsp water
chocolate chips (optional)

In a bowl, mix your almond butter, protein powder, oats and water together, until it begins sticking together. Mix in your chocolate chips. Form into balls. Eat and enjoy!

Now that was easy!

Fat: 20 g (yay heart-healthy monounsaturated fats from the almond butter!)
